Women's Wrestling Continues Season at Warrior Duals

FORT WAYNE, Ind. --- The Life University women's wrestling program showcased its dominance at the Warrior Duals, earning victories over Hiram, Indiana Tech, and Ottawa, further cementing their strong season.

Life U (12-1) began the day with an emphatic 48-0 shutout over NCAA DII Hiram. The Running Eagles started with a forfeit victory at 103 lbs from Macie Anderson and continued with Kaci Bice pinning her opponent in just 1:36 at 110 lbs. Jasmine Godinez, Anna Krejsa, Olivia Mottley, Christina Jaen, Maggie Graham, and Savannah Isaac also secured wins via forfeits or dominant tech falls. Highlights included Morgan Sacharczyk's 10-0 tech fall and Ugochi Anunobi's 10-0 victory at 160 lbs.

Next, Life U took on Indiana Tech in a the closest contested dual of the day. Despite the hosts efforts, the Running Eagles ultimately prevailing 31-10. After dropping a couple of early decisions, Jasmine Godinez delivered a 12-0 tech fall at 117 lbs. Anna Krejsa fought valiantly but fell to a decision at 124 lbs, while Olivia Mottley's 5-0 win and Zaynah McBryde's 10-0 tech fall at 138 lbs turned the momentum. Christina Jaen and Maggie Graham secured pivotal wins by fall, while Savannah Isaac closed out the dual with a close 3-1 decision at 207 lbs.

The final matchup saw Life U overpower Ottawa, 35-10. Macie Anderson opened with another forfeit win, while Jasmine Godinez, Anna Krejsa, Olivia Mottley, and Zaynah McBryde dominated with tech falls across their respective weight classes. Christina Jaen earned the fastest pin of the day at 145 lbs in just 26 seconds. Maggie Graham's 10-0 tech fall and Savannah Isaac's 29-second pin at 207 lbs capped off the victory, despite setbacks at 110 lbs and 160 lbs.

The Running Eagles continue their showing in Indiana on Saturday at the Warrior Open.
