MARIETTA, Ga. — The Life University women's basketball team battled through a physical, back-and-forth matchup Tuesday night, using a dominant rebounding performance and a late fourth-quarter push to edge Georgia Gwinnett 59–55 inside the Eagles' Nest. The Running Eagles improved to 7–1 with a 48–32 advantage on the glass and a standout night from forward Kenya Robinson.

Life U opened strong, taking a 16–14 lead after the first quarter behind aggressive interior scoring and early activity on the offensive boards. Momentum shifted in the second, however, as Georgia Gwinnett shot efficiently and outscored Life 21–12 to carry a 35–28 lead into halftime.

The Running Eagles tightened defensively coming out of the break, holding GGC to 11 third-quarter points. Buckets from Kaden McCorvey and Tyasia Williams kept Life within striking distance, trailing just 46–43 heading into the fourth.
