Records: Life U, 5-4 (0-4 SUN); Keiser 8-0 (3-0 SUN)

MARIETTA, Ga. --  The Life University women's flag football team fell in Tuesday afternoon action to the Seahawks of Keiser. The visitor offense proved to be a force, gaining 332 yards compared to just 194 from the Running Eagles.

It was the visitors to put the first points on the board early in the contest. The Running Eagles defense struggled to find an answer while the offense was forced to punt on the first two possessions of the game. A third Seahawks touchdown moved the score line to 20-0 before Life U finally got on the board. Beating the defender one-on-one down the sideline, Cheyenne Brooks found Altierra Gooch for a massive 65 yard touchdown. This marked the first time Keiser had given up points in four games.

Following a failed extra point try, the Running Eagles trailed 20-6 heading into the second. Still coming up empty on the offensive end, Life U surrendered a pair of touchdowns in the quarter as the score moved to 34-6.

Though the Running Eagles were able to slow the Keiser offense in the second half, the visitor defense continued to lock down the home offense. The contest closed 54-6 in favor of the visitors.

Up next, the Running Eagles have a quick turnaround, taking on Point at home on Thursday, March 20.
