Men's Volleyball Splits Florida Trip

BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Life U men's volleyball team split their weekend matches, falling to Webber International in straight sets on Friday before rebounding with a four-set victory over Warner Saturday afternoon.

Match 1: Life U 0, Webber International 3

The Running Eagles opened the weekend against Webber International, battling through a tight first set that extended into extra points before falling 28-26. Life U struggled to find consistency in the next two sets, dropping them 25-17 and 25-21. The team finished with a .242 hitting percentage but committed 15 service errors.

Webber International controlled the net, recording 44 kills with a .356 hitting percentage. Life U totaled 39 kills, led by Jakub Kantorowicz (9 kills, .241 hitting percentage) and Serano Keijl (8 kills, .333 hitting percentage, 4 digs). Carlos Stadtlober dished out 35 assists, while Alexis Prado anchored the defense with 14 digs. Vincent Eisinga contributed 8 kills and 4 blocks, and Jeremy Ferreira added 8 kills with a .538 hitting percentage.

Match 2: Life U 3, Warner 1

Life U rebounded against Warner, overcoming an early deficit to claim a four-set victory (21-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-19). The Running Eagles hit .349 as a team, improving their offensive efficiency while limiting Warner to a .200 attack percentage.

Jeremy Ferreira led Life U with 16 kills, a .700 hitting percentage, and 4 total blocks. Carlos Stadtlober recorded 47 assists and 3 service aces, guiding the offense. Jakub Kantorowicz contributed 12 kills and 6 digs, while Alexis Prado added 14 digs to lead the back row. Serano Keijl posted 10 kills, and Vincent Eisinga chipped in with 7 kills and 1 block assist.

Life U recorded 57 total kills on 109 attempts, compared to Warner's 32 kills on 95 attempts. The Running Eagles also won the blocking battle, finishing with 6.0 total blocks to Warner's 5.0.
