Life U Wrestling Releases 2026–27 NCWA Schedule

10.05.26

MARIETTA, Ga. — The Life University men's wrestling program has announced its 2026–27 NCWA schedule, featuring open tournaments, dual competition, and postseason championship competition.

Following back-to-back NCWA Division II National Championships, Life University will compete in the NCWA Division I classification for the 2026–27 season under the NCWA's newly sanctioned divisional structure. Life moves into Division I after finishing among the top 50 team scores at the 2026 NCWA National Championships, giving the Running Eagles the opportunity to compete for the NCWA Division I National Team Championship in 2027.

"I'm excited about this group and the opportunity these guys have in front of them," said NCWA Head Coach Jake Laden. "Our goal is to continue developing every time we step on the mat and put ourselves in position to compete for another championship at the end of the season."

The Running Eagles open the NCWA season on Saturday, October 31, at the Patriot Open in Corbin, Kentucky. Life U returns to action in November at the Georgia Open before hosting the 8th Annual Life U LUCHA Open at Legacy Arena in Douglasville, Georgia.
