CUTHBERT, Ga. — The Life University NCWA wrestling team remained undefeated on the season Thursday night, earning a 32–17 road victory at Andrew College behind a strong showing of bonus-point wins.
Life U set the tone early at 125 lbs as Kolby Dempsey secured a 21–5 technical fall. After a forfeit at 133, Peyton Hoskins swung momentum back with a fall at 141. Camron Crump followed at 149 with another technical fall, helping Life U NCWA build separation.
Andrew made a push in the middle weights, but Life U responded at 174 lbs with a key 15–1 major decision from Connor Edwards. Zion Smith added a quick fall at 184, and heavyweight Devin Dudley closed the night with a fall at 285 to seal the dual.
Life University NCWA won six of the ten bouts, collecting multiple falls and technical falls in a complete team effort on the road.
Final: Life University NCWA 32, Andrew College 17.
Up Next: Life U NCWA will compete at the NCWA Conference Tournament on Saturday, March 14, in Tallahassee, Florida. The Running Eagles will then turn their attention to the NCWA National Tournament, scheduled for March 26–28 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
