MARIETTA, Ga. – The Life University women's lacrosse team soundly defeated the Bulldogs of Tennessee Wesleyan on Wednesday night as senior Roxie Beasley totaled 11 points in the contest.

Tori Wolf opened the scoring at Lupo Family Field early, though the visiting Bulldogs offense responded with a quick pair of its own. Trialing 2-1 through the middle minutes of the first, Life U exploded for a four-goal run to take a commanding lead. Roxie Beasley kicked off the run with her first of seven on the night while teammates Sainabou Foon and Hannah Leon also joined the party. By the time the first period of action came to a close, the Running Eagles led 6-3.

The scoring continued straight into the second period as Beasley and Leon both found the back of the net just minutes in. Tennessee Wesleyan netted a quick goal in response, but Reese Phipps and Beasley once again answered.
