MARIETTA, Ga. - The Life University men's lacrosse team fell to the #9 Warriors of Webber late Thursday night. The first half was an offensive battle, with Life U holding a narrow edge, before the visitors took over in the second.

Eric Manfredonia opened the scoring on Lupo Family field just a couple minutes into the contest. However, the next four-straight goals belong to the visitors in the middle minutes as the Running Eagles offense struggled to find its footing. Jared Cordova put the run to an end with a pair of goals, but the Warriors offense added two more of its own, taking a 6-3 lead into the second.

Life U found offense and life in the second period, opening the frame on a four-goal run. Manfredonia accounted for three of the four goals, with the other score coming from Evan Sengstock. Sengstock and Brayden Hittle assisted on the goals from Manfredonia. Now back in control, the Running Eagles defense dominated the Webber offense, allowing zero goals and just four shots the entire period. Life U carried an 8-6 lead into the break with Manfredonia having four first-half goals.

The break provided new life for the visitors. Flipping the script and holding the Running Eagles scoreless on the offensive end, the Warriors offense posted five-unanswered goals in the frame to take an 11-8 lead into the final period.

The final period mirrored the third, with the Webber run continuing on the offensive end. Sengstock ended the scoreless drought midway through the frame, but the visitors still outscored the Running Eagles 3-1 in the period. The contest concluded 14-9 in favor of the visitors.
