MARIETTA, Ga. - The Life University men's lacrosse team fell to the #2 Seahawks of Keiser on Saturday afternoon. Despite a highly-competitive start to the contest, Life U remained unable to keep up with the visitors offense.

Life U opened the scoring on Lupo Family Field for a second-straight contest to take an early 1-0 lead. Following a face off win from Christofer Tyson, Eric Manfredonia slammed home his first of the contest off an assist from Tristan Berry. The early momentum was short lived as the Seahawks offense responded with a pair of its own to take a 2-1 lead. Manfredonia once again leveled the contest off an assist from Brayden Hittle, but the visitors answered with a five-goal run over nearly the entire remaining minutes of the period. Berry added a last-second goal to give Life U a late score.

Trailing 7-3 heading into the second, the deficit continued to grow for the Running Eagles as Keiser dominated the action, scoring three goals in the frame while allowing zero.

Down 10-3, the Seahawks found the first goal of the period before Evan Sengstock laced home a goal after connecting with Manfredonia. The goal marked the only time Life U would find success in the period as the deficit grew to double-digits.

Though Life U matched the scoring of the Seahawks in the fourth with goals from Jared Cordova, Hittle and Manfredonia, the lead was too much to overcome as the Seahawks claimed the 17-7 win.
