MARIETTA, Ga. - The Life University men's lacrosse team dominated the Cavaliers of Montreat late Thursday night on Lupo Family Field. Eric Manfredonia had a stellar performance, scoring seven goals and adding two assists while also causing three turnovers.

Eric Manfredonia opened the scoring on Lupo Family field midway through the first before the visitors offense answered with a pair of its own. Meritt Turner leveled the contest at 2-2 shortly after before two more goals from Evan Sengstock and Manfredonia closed the period on a 3-0 Life U run.

Leading 4-2 heading into the second, Manfredonia and Meritt continued to pour it on. Though the visitors hung close for the early minutes, the Running Eagles once again closed the period on a three-goal run from Alex McGuire, Christofer Tyson and Sengstock to take a 9-4 lead into the half time break.

Montreat scored out of the break to pull within four but still had no answer for Manfredonia on the defensive end. A five-goal run, that included three from the graduate student and individual goals from Vinny Modugno and Sengstock, gave the Running Eagles a nine-goal lead.
