CANTON, Mo. – The Life University women's lacrosse team got back in the win column on Sunday afternoon, taking down the Wildcats of Culver-Stockton on the road. Junior Tori Wolf led the offensive charge with seven goals and two assists to total nine points on the day.

Tori Wolf kicked off the scoring on the road for the Running Eagles, first finding the back of the net unassisted before netting her second just minutes later off an assist from Jazzlynn Hollerbach. Hannah Leon and Jennifer Lopez followed with man-up opportunity goals as Life U took a 4-0 lead. The defense held the home squad scoreless in the first period as goalkeeper Abigale Eash made five saves.

Roxie Beasley found Wolf to kick off the second period, making it 5-0. The Wildcat offense finally got on the board early in the second, but an answer from Beasley came shortly after. The second frame was slow offensively, with Life U outscoring the Wildcats 2-1, taking a 6-1 lead into the break.

Both offenses stepped up in the third. Leon put in back-to-back goals to stretch the lead to seven before Culver-Stockton responded with a pair of its own. Kameron Easter and Wolf each took advantage of man-up situations to push the lead to seven once more. The Wildcats answered with one late to cut the deficit to six heading into the final frame.

The fourth and final period belong to the Running Eagles. Multiple goals from Sainabou Foon, Wolf and Leon spelled the end of the contest as Life U claimed the 15-5 road win.
