LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Life University women's lacrosse team blew past the Royals of Warner on the road Saturday afternoon. Roxie Beasley led the way offensively, netting seven goals in the contest and recording one assist.

Life U wasted no time jumping on the Royals. Tori Wolf scored immediately following the opening draw control before Roxie Beasley added her first of the day shortly after. Warner answered with a strike of its own at the 06:31 mark, but the lone goal would be the only time the home offense scored in the period. The remaining minutes belong solely to the Running Eagles as Lilly Phillips, Hannah Leon and Beasley all found the back of the net.

Leading 5-1 heading into the second, Beasley pushed the lead to 6-1 before the scoring slowed. The home offense netted a pair late in the second to cut the lead in half as Life U led 6-3 going into the break.

Sydney Matesevac opened the second-half scoring, though the strike was quickly answered by Warner. However, a 5-1 run in favor of the Running Eagles opened up the contest. Leon and Wolf each contributed a goal to the run while Beasley recorded a third-period hat trick.

Life U held a comfortable 12-5 lead going into the final 15 minutes. Dominating the final frame, the Running Eagles closed in strong-fashion, taking home the 17-7 win.
