MARIETTA, Ga. — The Life University men's volleyball team battled Thursday night in day one of the AAC Pod, but ultimately fell to Warner (FL), 3–1, inside the Upper Gym.

Warner grabbed the early advantage, using efficient offense to take the opening set 25–22. The Royals capitalized on key points late in the frame to hold off a Life U push and secure the early lead.

The second set followed a similar pattern as Warner stayed in control behind steady attacking and took advantage of Life U miscues. Despite several strong swings from the Running Eagles, the Royals maintained separation and claimed a 25–20 win to move ahead 2–0.

Life U responded in the third with its best stretch of the night. The Running Eagles found a rhythm from the service line and at the net, jumping out to an early lead and maintaining control throughout the set. Behind key production from Serano Keijl and a strong defensive presence, Life U closed out a 25–18 win to extend the match.

The fourth set remained tight early, with both teams trading points and momentum. Life U stayed within striking distance late, but Warner used a final run to pull away and secure the 25–20 set victory, sealing the match.

Warner finished the match with 45 kills on a .209 hitting percentage, while Life U recorded 42 kills, 36 digs, and 12 team blocks.
