Men's Volleyball Earns Another AAC Pod Sweep over Carolina

BLUEFIELD, Va. — The Life University men's volleyball team delivered a strong performance Friday afternoon, sweeping Carolina University in straight sets (25–14, 25–18, 27–25) at Bluefield's AAC Conference Pod.

The Running Eagles controlled much of the match behind an efficient offensive showing and solid play at the net, hitting .300 as a team while limiting Carolina to just a .036 clip.

Life U set the tone early in the opening frame, turning in its most dominant set of the match. The Running Eagles hit an impressive .583 in the set with 15 kills and just one error, quickly building separation and cruising to a 25–14 win.

The second set saw Life maintain control, using timely runs and continued pressure from the service line to keep Carolina at a distance. A balanced offensive effort and strong blocking presence helped Life secure a 25–18 victory and take a 2–0 lead in the match.

Carolina pushed back in the third, turning it into a tightly contested battle that featured 16 ties and multiple lead changes. Despite trailing late, Life responded with composure, using key kills and defensive stops to rally and close out the set 27–25 to complete the sweep.
