WALESKA, Ga. - The Life University men's lacrosse team won a crucial AAC contest against the Eagles of Reinhardt late Saturday night. Evan Sengstock was electric on offense for Life U, netting nearly half the teams goals.

Alex McGuire kicked off the scoring in the contest as Life U jumped out to an early 1-0 lead. However, the home standing Eagles quickly regathered themselves, responding with three-straight goals to take all the momentum. Though Erik Fornek momentarily brought the deficit back to just one, Reinhardt struck once more in the final minutes, taking a 4-2 lead to the second period.

Evan Sengstock connected with Jared Cordova to kick off the second period before McGuire brought the contest level at the 12:37 mark. The Eagles responded once more to retake the lead but a pair of goals from Tristan Berry and Sengstock midway through the frame proved to be enough for the Running Eagles to close the first half with a 6-5 lead.

In the third, the Life U defense dominated. The Running Eagles defensive unit allowed just one shot on goal in the entire period while forcing five turnovers out of the home offense. On the opposite end of the field, Sengstock continued to reek havoc on Reinhardt, netting two more goals and giving his squad a three-goal advantage with 15 to play.

Sengstock continued to have a night, scoring just over 90 seconds into the fourth period to make it 9-5 Life U. Though Reinhardt did find one late goal, the Running Eagles picked up a massive 9-6 win on the road.
