2026 Men's Volleyball Season Recap

• The Life University Men's Volleyball program posted a 16-11 record overall and went 9-5 in AAC play.
• The team traveled to Kingsport, Tennessee, for the AAC Conference Tournament, where they beat Truett McConnell in the Quarterfinals to advance to the Semifinals.
• The Running Eagles had 6 All-Conference players, 6 Daktronics Scholar Athletes, 13 AAC Player of the Week honors, and 1 National Player of the Week Honor.

• The Life University Men's Volleyball Team swept 2 AAC Teams this year in Truett McConnell and Webber International Uni.
• The Running Eagles dominated all 6 sets against Webber International, allowing only 46 kills across the 2 matches.
• Life defeated Truett McConnell twice during the regular season. The team then met them again in the first round of the AAC tournament, securing another win.
  • In the first round of the AAC Tournament, Life defeated Truett McConnell for the third time this season, winning all three sets. The team advanced to the quarterfinals, led by Riley Chapman's 41 assists and 15 kills from sophomore Serano Keigl.

• The Life University Men's Volleyball team earned 6 All-Conference Team Honorees.
  • First Team: Serano Keijl, Riley Chapman, and Jan Burhardt
  • Second Team: Vincent Eisinga, Nazmi Bayoglu, Jakub Kantorowicz
• Riley Chapman was also named to the AAC All-Tournament Team for his exceptional play during tournament matches.
• Jan Burhardt won AAC Middle Blocker of the Year, along with Freshman of the Year, after leading the conference in blocks per set and hitting percentage.
  • Jan also had 5 AAC POTW and 1 National Player of the Week Honor.
• The Running Eagles had 6 athletes named to the Daktronics Scholars: Nefty Vigo, Michael Stephens, Serano Keijl, Jakub Kantorowicz, Aiden Janowski, and Vincent Eisinga.
