Life U Swim Falls to Lindsey Wilson in Road Dual

COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Life University men's and women's swim team competed in a duel against Lindsey Wilson College this Saturday in Columbia Ky with both teams falling to the Blue Raiders. 

Even though the women's team was unable to take home a win and many top two finishes. 

The Women's team finished in first place in one event and second place in eight of the events held Saturday. The team started off strong with an early second place win in the 200 yd Medley Relay (1:55.04).  

The one first place finish from the team was in the 200 yd Free (1:43.30). There were also second place finishes from Kyleigh Shonk in the 100 yd Back (1:01.69), Sophia Carneiro in the 100 yd Breast (1:10.69), Nikita Snoeren in the 50 yd Free (24.83) and the 100 yd Free (55.01), Elisa Gross in 50 yard Breast (32.59) and 100 yd IM (1:03.85), and Megan Cronje in the 200 yd Breast (2:40.27).

Overall, the men finished first in four of the events. Life U had first place finishes from Bence Dort in the 100 yd Back (50.90) and 200 yd Back (1:52.11) and also Bence Meresz in the 100 yd Breast (55.72) and the 100 yd Free (47.20), 

There was also a few second place finishes in the 200 yd Medley Relay, Mate Dort in the 200 yd Free (1:47.65), Ty Klynhans in the 100 yd Breast (58.81) and the 100 yd IM (54.79), Holden Neace in the 200 yd Fly (2:25.88), Brody Williams in the 50 yd Free (22.39) and the 100 yd Fly (54.24), and Pablo Serra Ventura (1:56.20).

Up next, the Running Eagles will head to Columbus, Ga. to compete in the Small College Championships Nov. 21st -23rd.
