Men's Track & Field Finishes T-13 at NAIA Outdoor Nationals

MARION, Ind. - The Life University Men's Track and Field team placed T-13 at the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Nationals meet. The Running Eagles crowned the 4x100m relay as National Champions and bring home five All-American honors.

The Life U 4x100m team of Jordan Dave, Daniel Williams, Tobiloba Oniyide and Andre Edwards won the 4x100m relay, posting a time of 39.44. The race came down to the wire, with the Running Eagles holding off William Carey by just .02 seconds.

 

Darius Barge put up a solid performance in the shot put, earning All-American status with a toss of 17.40m. He earned sixth place in the event, with the top two finishers tossing over 18 meters.

In the 100m dash finals, Tobiloba Oniyide placed eighth with a time of 10.42, being named an All-American in his final race for Life U.

Sean Hewitt turned in a brilliant performance in the 400m hurdles, placing fourth (51.91). Originally seeded 16th coming into the meet, Hewitt ran the fourth best time in the prelims before running a season-best time in the finals to earn his All-American status. 

The relay team of Jamario Russell, Tilman Jedlitschka, Abedelemejid Kerebo and Alejandro Ramos Veglio placed eighth in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:17.10. The finish makes the group the second relay team to earn All-American status. 

 

In the 100m dash prelims, Jordan Dave placed 14th with a time of 10.55 while teammate Andre Edwards placed 25th with a time of 10.66.

Throwing in extremely windy conditions, Winston Sanders placed 13th with a best throw of 47.92m. Darius Barge placed 16th in the same conditions with a best toss of 47.16m. 

Daniel Williams DNF'ed in the 100m due to injury and DNS'ed in the remainder of his events. 

Wiaan Martin DNF'ed in the 400m due to injury.
