WALESKA, Ga. – The Life University men's volleyball team fell to Bluefield (Va.) on Saturday morning on the campus of Reinhardt University, losing 3-1 in the "AAC Pod". The Running Eagles battled throughout but ultimately dropped the match 25-19, 25-21, 21-25, 25-22.
The Running Eagles started the first set with strong energy, keeping the score tight early on. However, Bluefield (VA) found momentum midway through, capitalizing on attack errors and a strong service game to take the set 25-19.
The second set followed a similar pattern, with both teams exchanging points early. The Running Eagles momentarily gained an edge behind a service ace from Alexis Prado, but the Rams regain control. Life U then fought back to 24-20, but a final attack error gave Bluefield the 25-21 victory.
The Running Eagles found their rhythm in the third set, taking an early lead behind strong play from Siebe De Gieter and Serano Keijl. They then maintained control throughout, forcing Bluefield into errors and securing a 21-25 win to extend the match.
In the fourth set, Bluefield regrouped and surged ahead late in the set. Despite another strong showing from Keijl, the Running Eagles couldn't close the gap, as Bluefield sealed the match with a 25-22 victory.
TURNING POINT:
— Life U showed resilience in the third set but struggled to maintain momentum, allowing Bluefield to regroup and take control in the fourth.

The Running Eagles will now look to bounce back in their next matchup against Midway University on Monday. Tipoff back in the Eagles' Nest is set for 5PM.
