Men's Lacrosse Senior Day Contest Halted Due to Weather

MARIETTA, Ga. - The Life University men's lacrosse team Senior Day contest against the Seahawks of Keiser was halted Sunday afternoon due to weather. With ample amount of consistent lighting, the game was called off with 09:01 left in the second period where the visiting Seahawks led 9-2.

Keiser opened the contest with a pair of goals before Josh Bell scored the first of the day for the Running Eagles. The home defense struggled to slow down the visitors as five-straight goals from the Seahawks gave them a 7-1 lead. Eric Manfredonia got one back for the home squad off an assist from Brayden Hittle but Life U still trailed 9-2 going into the second.

It appeared the Running Eagles defense had found its footing in the second, allowing just one goal up until the lightning delay began.
